On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff, we wish you a New Year filled with good health, happiness, and hope!
While 2020 was an unprecedented year and brought many challenges, our mission did not change. Through our generous supporters, and desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals impacted by brain and/or spinal cord injury, 2020 was a successful year. As we turn our attention to 2021, we want to take a moment to reflect back on all the wonderful moments of 2020.

We are thankful for our contract with the Louisiana Department of Health/Office of Aging and Adult Services. This contract affords us the opportunity to offer a statewide resource center for people impacted by brain and/or spinal cord injury.
The Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust offered a dollar for dollar matching gift, and through wonderful supporters, we achieved our goal and received the matching gift. We are most grateful for their generosity.
As we close 2020 together with you, we look back with pride and joy, knowing we have impacted so many, and yet also knowing how many more individuals sustained new brain and/or spinal cord injuries this year. These individuals are never just statistics to us; each has a story to tell, a voice to be heard, and a face to be seen. Thus, our mission will continue throughout 2021 as we hope to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Thank you to all of our members, supporters, sponsors, Friends of BIALA, and community for believing in our mission and helping us strengthen our voice of help, hope, and healing.
BIALA looks toward 2021 with an abundance of hope, knowing that so much good exists and believing in all the ways that people like you make this world a better place for others.
