Dear friends and neighbors,
Welcome to our end-of-the-year newsletter from District 3! 2020 has been a tough and challenging year for so many Howard County residents. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted countless people in Howard County. Many of our neighbors have felt the pain of job insecurity, housing instability, or the loss of a loved one.
Despite these challenges, our community has come together to support one another through acts of generosity, kindness, and compassion. As we head into the new year, I am optimistic, encouraged, and grateful to be your neighbor and representative.
As we conclude this year, I wanted to share several of our joint accomplishments in 2020. Over the last 12 months, I have worked to advance our shared priorities and address our challenges through council legislation, advocacy, and collaboration with community members and leaders. I have included some highlights of our accomplishments below.
