Dear MCS Families,

Welcome Back!

We have sincerely missed seeing you over these last several months. We are looking forward to meeting with you very soon! We are actively planning to open our facilities for in-person learning on September 9, the first day of school for our students Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade, as scheduled and in person.

One advantage that Monroe Christian School has is the small size of our school population (about 120 students) with our spacious classrooms and large fenced playfield.

Our teachers are looking forward to being back at school! Over the summer you have been introduced to Mrs. Briggs (3rd grade), Mrs. Waltman (5th grade), and Mrs. Scott (music). It is going to be a great school year!

Our routines and classrooms will look a little different as we reopen. Daily health screenings will be in place for all staff, students, parents, and visitors. Social distancing will be observed in every classroom and in outdoor spaces. Face covering will be required for students, teachers, staff, and all visitors. This is all included in the reopening plan. See below.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to all the opportunities that await our school community in the fall. We are praying for continued health and many wonderful summer memories for each of you!

The MCS technology committee is working to prepare for the event of virtual learning. As part of the preparation, we need the help of parents and guardians. Please fill out the following survey by Wednesday August 12th . The goal of the survey is to understand your needs and how we can better support you.
