We are currently making updates for our 2021 AIA Rochester Membership Directory and we want to make sure we have your information correct. Please take a moment to click here to see the current directory. Check out your listing, your member firm profile and even your photo! AIA Film Challenge 2020 - Winners Announced

Four mini documentary films have been selected as winners of the AIA Film Challenge 2020. Judges selected the film Dallas Holocaust & Human Rights Museum, by filmmaker John Gordon, as this year's Grand Prize winner. The Dallas Holocaust & Human Rights Museum, designed by Dallas architecture firm Omniplan, creates a deep and authentic experiential journey that grapples with the most difficult and perplexing issues plaguing humanity. NCARB - ARE Online Testing Launches Mid-December

NCARB is excited to announce that Architect Registration Examination® (ARE®) candidates will be able to schedule online-proctored appointments in mid-December 2020. Changes that will make online proctoring possible are expected to launch December 14, 2020. This new option will provide flexibility to take the exam in a location of your choice. Getting to net zero

In 2007, the AIA helped set the Federal 2030 Net Zero Energy Goals. Today, we continue to push for ways to achieve and surpass them.

This includes preserving Section 433 of the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA), which cost-effectively improves energy performance for federal buildings, and leading the fight to protect energy efficiency incentives like the 179D tax deduction. On the state and local levels, we are guiding governments and communities toward effective green building incentives. READ MORE
