to impact families, including children and seniors, and the communities in which they reside through the work and ministry of
Habitat for Humanity of York County.
Volunteers

Volunteers gave more than 13,000 hours of volunteer service through our construction activities and ReStore operations - including Habitat homebuyers who volunteer constructing other families' homes before they begin building their own home.

Habitat volunteer construction team leaders gave more than 2,000 hours helping to guide and supervise other volunteers on new construction and home repair sites.

Homeowners
5 families in Rock Hill and York became Habitat homebuyers and 2 homes were in process at fiscal year end. 155 individuals attended Habitat homebuyer information sessions.

The average Habitat monthly mortgage payment is $500 including taxes and insurance versus a 3-bedroom rental unit at $1,400.

In York County, a total of 17 homeowners improved their housing through our Home Repair Program and 7 repair projects were in process at fiscal year end.

$.91 of every dollar spent goes directly toward program services that create and preserve decent homes families can afford to live in.

$18,950 tithed toward international work in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Romania and Habitat for Humanity Malawi.

$82,248 in local and state taxes paid through Habitat operations.

$2,841,881 in economic impacts from Habitat's work in York County.
Neighborhood Revitalization
During FY19-20, 17 families obtained home repair projects in addition to 7 in progress at year end along with 8 neighborhood-based projects occurring in partnership with neighborhoods across the county.
