Palm Springs Lift Stations
Engenuity Group has served as the Town Engineer for Ocean Ridge for over two decades, with Lisa Tropepe, P.E., leading the team. While it’s a rigorous process to be reviewed for the Community Rating System (CRS) incentive program, it continuously proves to be worthwhile by notably reducing the flood insurance premium rates of the residents. The CRS evaluation considers overall infrastructure of the Town, including but not limited to the drainage system and maintenance, topography, open space preservation and Capital Improvement Plan. We are pleased to announce that the Town has been improved from a CRS Class 7 to a Class 6, which further increases the Town’s residents already discounted premiums. This is a win/win!

Our engineering team completed designs for four existing lift stations in accordance with the Village of Palm Springs' standard details. The existing control panels were replaced and other electrical equipment was replaced as needed.
Engenuity Group, Inc. prepared a Topographic Survey of the site, performed preliminary investigation and site plan design, prepared construction documents, submitted permit applications, provided bidding assistance, construction observation, and construction contract administration. The Palm Springs lift stations are identified as PS-02 (Woodlands), PS-06, (Fountainview), PS-08 (Mediterranean), and PS-14 (Pretty).

Ribbon Cuttings
Foxtail Palm Park and Oswego Oaks
Engenuity Group, Inc. attended a ribbon cutting at Foxtail Palm Park, which we designed for the Village of Palm Springs in partnership with Palm Beach County. The groundbreaking ceremony was held a year ago and we love seeing this community project come to fruition. The design included taking an empty lot and transforming it into a park with a pond, fountain, walking trail, gazebo and playground. We added trees and parking spots as well.
We are pleased to bring this beautiful park to the Village of Palm Springs and hope it adds to the enjoyment of area residents.

Engenuity Group is proud to have completed the surveying and civil engineering services on a new park for the Westgate Community Redevelopment Agency dubbed Oswego Oaks Park. The park consists of a walking trail and benches with new lighting covered by trees as well as a new stage and gathering area and easy street parking parallel to the park which will be perfect for food trucks to serve guests. We prepared a plat, sketch & descriptions, a boundary and topographic survey, paving, grading and drainage plans, and provided permitting, bidding, and construction administration services throughout the entirety of the project. We hope the residents, business owners, guests and other stakeholders in the CRA are able to enjoy the park for many years to come.

NPDES Monitoring and Keeping Water Clean
NPDES Monitoring & Reports for Manalapan and Ocean Ridge - The National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) is a permit program, created in 1972 by the Clean Water Act (CWA) that helps address water pollution by regulating point sources that discharge pollutants to waters of the United States. The permit conditions for Palm Beach County require the individual permittees work together to ultimately submit an annual report to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Engenuity Group attends the periodic Steering Committee Meetings on behalf of both Towns throughout the year as well as prepares their individual Annual Reports and assists with preparing for and attending the DEP audit when selected.
