February 17 - 23, 2020
  • Thank you for all your generous donations to our Book Donation Bins. We are truly overwhelmed with gratitude and books! The bins will be closed beginning February 17 and will re-open on March 2. This will give our volunteers the time needed to sort through existing donations in preparation for the Gigantic Spring Book Sale Fundraiser, April 25 - 28.
  • Wilton Library will be closed on Monday, February 17, for the Presidents' Day holiday.
  • The library is replacing some worn carpeting beginning February 13 and finishing up by February 24. The bulk of the project will be handled after hours therefore the impact will be minimal. However, you may find some things have been moved temporarily. Reference librarians are available to help you find materials if they are out of order. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Here's what's happening the week of February 17 - 23.

The Treaties of Sèvres and Lausanne - Case Studies of Diplomatic Nonsense
Thursday, February 20 @7pm
This is the final lecture  presented by Wilton resident Jean-Pierre Lavielle  in the series about World War I and its aftermath. Ninety-nine years ago a treaty was signed in Sèvres, a Paris suburb, to reshape the Middle East from the ashes of the Ottoman Empire. The plan collapsed, yet it casts a very long shadow since it explains the current explosive situation of the Middle East.  More info & register
