The Par-Tee is ON!
Thursday September 10th
We are so excited to be proceeding with this FUN annual event! In an effort to keep everyone safe and follow the mandated guidelines, this years tournament will run a little different:

  • The after party & awards will take place outdoors with proper distancing. Should weather not cooperate, we will unfortunately have to cancel the after party and announce the winners in Apple Slices.
  • Instead of a raffle, we will be doing a virtual silent auction where bids will be made online (same system as our Gala). Keep your eyes peeled for a link to make your bids.
  • There will be more specific rules for golfers to follow which we will send out later to registered players.

As we all know, the COVID-19 situation is very fluid. Should any other changes or additional requirements arise, we will keep you updated via email.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate this new normal for this event. Hopefully it is only temporary and we can go back to our regular tournament next year. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out to the Chamber. We look forward to seeing you at the tournament!

Silent Auction
In an effort to reduce person-to-person contact, we will be doing a silent auction instead of a raffle this year. This will work just the same as our Gala silent auction system. We will send a out a link and from that link you will be able to bid on items from your phone or computer.

Of course this wouldn't be possible without items to auction off! Your generous donations make this event possible and we appreciate them so much. If you are able to donate please let us know. Items don't necessarily have to be branded, however please do include your business card and contact info with your donated item! Items will be listed online with photos of the item and your company logo listed as the donor. Another great opportunity to promote your business.
Golf Cart Dividers
We want to give a huge thank you to THINK BANK for paying $2,000 (of the $3,000 needed) to have clear dividers put into 72 Valleywood golf carts. The State Health Commissioner has reiterated that golf carts must have dividers for two people to be in one cart (unless they are family members). VALLEYWOOD GOLF COURSE is paying the remaining $1,000 in order to make the dividers possible. It will also benefit all other tournaments and save golfers and leagues money from having to secure single carts. Arrangements for the dividers is generously being procured at cost by SPEEDPRO IMAGING. Keith Boisner, owner of SpeedPro is taking care of shipping, taxes and installation. This arrangement was finalized this week, which is why we haven’t sent out golf information until today.

With our 2020 Home & Garden Expo being cancelled twice due to COVID and the Gala still TBD, our only event year-to-date to keep our Chamber operating is this golf tournament.  WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL THERE!

Joe Veliz | Highland Bank
This is Joe's 5th year Chairing the Golf tournament. Thank you Joe for your leadership and support. We appreciate you!
