Northland News ~ November 12, 2020

HOCO 2020 at Northland Christian School brought together over 45 years of NCS tradition with the unique nature of 2020. Our dress up days leading up to the game and Block Party were enjoyed by students and staff of all grades. Friday's game and court announcement carried on the tradition in a safe way. In lieu of a traditional homecoming dance, our high schoolers enjoyed some safe, but much needed bonding at our HOCO 2020 Block Party on campus Saturday night. Please enjoy some photos from last week's fun.
Northland students and staff enjoyed the following HOCO dress up days this year. Thanks to our teachers for uploading the photos. Please enjoy the HOCO Dress Days photo gallery linked below.

Congratulations to the King & Queen who were crowned before the football game.
The usual Homecoming Dance was unable to happen this year, but PTO was happy to host and provide a COVID Safe Block party on campus for Northland’s high school students.

Students and teachers enjoyed using the outdoor classroom and football stadium area to enjoy yard games, a movie, music, college football on a trailer from Tailgate USA, volleyball, Gaga Ball, and basketball.

Everyone loved the Mingos Food truck- the tacos and loaded French fries were rated the best by students and teachers! Dessert was provided by Southern Ice Cream Texas and Popcorn from Craving Kernels in Tomball.

110 high school students and about 17 teachers and administrators helped to make the night a huge success. Thank you to the PTO for the financial support and volunteers to make this night a memorable event for high school students. Thank you to Kelly Hearn for taking photos of the evening.
