Greetings!
As parents who are still in the first quarter of what will be eight consecutive years (fingers crossed) of our two younger kids going to school, my wife and I know full well how important scholarships and awards can be.
For the last
40 years, the
Metropolitan Fastener Distributors Association has been honoring deserving students with scholarship awards. Unfortunately, due to the virus and stay at home orders in our states, the MFDA has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 dinner.
While the 41st dinner itself won't be happening, the MFDA board felt it was very important to still honor students for their achievements, and help them reach their future goals. We hope that you can join us do that in a couple of ways:
1) Get the word out - please let your co-workers know about this scholarship opportunity! The
application is due
JUNE 1st. Anyone who is an employee of an MFDA member company, or a family member of an employee is eligible to be considered. Please click to download the

2) Make a
donation! - If you are or aren't a MFDA member, the association could really use your help with a contribution to the scholarship drive. Any amount would be welcome. Or if you would like to leave lasting legacy, please consider naming a scholarship. You can click here to download the

Applications and donations are due
June 1st. You can mail everything into the *NEW* MFDA address (
233 Rock Road #205, Glen Rock NJ 07452) or email scanned documents to
mfdaboard@gmail.com. We will notify and send checks to all the winners via mail.
Last, but not least - if you are not an MFDA member but would like to be, please check out the
new members page. It's not too late to join before the June 1st scholarship application deadline!
