ARAWC MONTHLY GOVERNMENT RELATIONS CALLS

ARAWC GOVERNMENT RELATIONS UPDATE

TDI’s Substitutes Rule:

On Tuesday October 29th, the Texas Department of Insurance held a stakeholder meeting for their proposed rule making on the sale of substitutes to workers’ compensation insurance. This meeting was the culmination, to this point, of almost two years of ARAWC and others discussing this issue with TDI . The Department has asked for updated comments on the rule by November 15th. QCARE UPDATES

Since the launch of QCARE on October 2, 2019, Texas injury benefit programs that cover over two hundred thousand Texas employees have now received the QCARE designation, and that number is growing weekly!  Get the QCARE designation today for an improved reputation with your valued employees and customers, as well as an improved defense litigation position on negligence liability claims. It’s voluntary, simple and free. For more information, click here to read more about QCARE and how to apply.
