March 2020 Newsletter
Hello from all of us at Generations! It's hard to believe this is our first newsletter of the year. Let's take a look back at 2019 before we dive into what's new for 2020...
Last year, we made many enhancements to Generations Homecare System. See below for a few highlights.
We raised the bar around security using top-of-the-line data hosting services to protect client data. We're proud to be the leading technology solution when it comes to high security standards.
We expanded reporting functionality in Generations by adding tools for readmission tracking.
We built Electronic Visit Verification interfaces to meet state-specific requirements in the United States.

We also closed out 2019 with an average rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 for the Generations Mobile App for care teams. In comparison, mobile apps from other leading homecare software companies ended the year with a median monthly rating of 3 stars. Your ratings and reviews continue to help us perfect the app and we owe our success to you!

We can't wait to see what we can accomplish together this year.

EVV Solutions | Your 2020 Update
We are committed to supporting agencies in all 50 states across the United States in meeting the new Medicaid billing requirements.
As part of our ongoing work to help homecare agencies in the United States meet the federal government's new Electronic Visit Verification rules, Generations has adapted the DMAS-90 reporting for Virginia homecare agencies and streamlined electronic signature captures as part of the newest round of releases.

In addition, w e are excited to announce that Generations meets the EVV requirement for billing to Medicaid in the state of Pennsylvania. Generations clients in Pennsylvania can now bill with Sandata, HHAeXchange or both , depending on their payor.

Here are just a few of the benefits of the new features:
  • Accurate records and billing exports under Virginia and Pennsylvania's new regulatory requirements
  • A simplified reimbursement process using fully integrated EVV

In case you missed it, new inclusive emoji arrived late last year. Disability-themed emoji, including a new guide dog, an ear with a hearing aid, wheelchairs, a prosthetic arm and a prosthetic leg are now available in the emoji keyboard. Use these emoji across your marketing channels to help tell your agency story and share the important work you do for the individuals you serve.
