Health Talents International

20/20 is universally used to express what we understand to be normal vision; meaning we see clearly at twenty feet, everything normally seen by…well, normal people. Normal is a lot like average; I never wanted to be average, work an average job, marry an average woman or have average children. I wanted exceptional at least; and I believe I got it.
Maya Angelou says it this way, ““If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.” Health Talents wants to be amazing and I’ll take amazing every day!
As we enter 2020, the Health Talents Board of Directors has taken steps to improve our organizational structure, sharpen our vision and position ourselves for future growth; for
amazing

Those steps, began in 2019, include Sheri Kretzschmar joining our US ministry team as Mission Trips and Events Manager and bringing on Bode Teague as our Director of Development and Philanthropy. It means I, Rick Harper, after almost seventeen years as Executive Director will relinquish supervisory responsibilities for our sixty-seven team members in Guatemala and transition into a new role, serving as US Director of Missions and concentrating my efforts on building new relationships in the US and developing our US ministry team. And most importantly, it means promoting Kemmel Dunham into the new role of Central America Director of Missions.

Kemmel Dunham, new Central America Director of Missions with Dr. Lisa Dunham
|
Kemmel, and his wife, Dr. Lisa Dunham, have served in Guatemala as missionaries since March of 2005. They pioneered our highland operations and Kemmel, serving as our Director of Highland operations, assembled a talented, highly effective team. His organizational and administrative skills are, quite simply, amazing. And yes, amazing is just one of the superlatives you could use to describe his wife, they are a dynamic duo for God.
Please lift Kemmel and Lisa up in prayer as he assumes his new duties in 2020, and while you are at it, remember our Guatemala ministry team as they adjust to this change.
We are aiming for
amazing
in 2020. After all, we serve an
amazing
God who has extended us
amazing
grace!

Yes, it is the dreaded time of the year that we make those New Year’s Resolutions. Resolutions usually are broken because they approach something that is difficult and we quickly set ourselves up for failure.
I would like to challenge you, to select one this year that you will be able to keep, will be able to share with others and that will also bring joy.
|
|
We, the Health Talents staff,
pray God's blessings on you and
your loved ones now and in the New Year!
