As an enthusiastic and generous champion of the Science Center’s mission and vision, we give thanks to you this season. 2020 has been a year of unprecedented challenges, yet because of the generous support from you and other community leaders, our team is delivering meaningful mission programs virtually. I am also pleased to share that the Launch the Future campaign to build Northern Virginia’s science center is 90% complete, and design and construction plans are well underway. Thank you to everyone who has advocated for and contributed to this project, over a decade in the making! 

We are celebrating these achievements, made this year because of your generous support! Our goal in 2021 is to complete raising the remaining 10% of the capital campaign and bring this transformational vision even closer to reality.

Building a Vibrant STEM Ecosystem
On November 18, 2020, the Center held the first in series of Community Conversations exploring the creation of a vibrant STEM ecosystem in Northern Virginia. Thank you to the 50 members of our community who joined the lively discussion between Executive Director Nene Spivy, Battelle's Regina Schofield, and Virginia Tech's Jim Egenrieder. We look forward to welcoming you to the next installment in this series in February 2021!
