Last week's newsletter gave a Best Week Ever shout out to the youth here in Excelsior Springs who enjoyed the recent snow by making snowmen and women and going sledding! Well, this week, Jason Cole's video he made from sledding at Sunnyside Hill was featured on Good Morning America!

The Elms Hotel & Spa
is getting ready to undergo renovations to their lobby soon and will also be replacing their fire escapes, with future plans to expand the spa!
As a reminder, Price Chopper will also start their renovations soon. The store will not close through renovations, just areas being renovated will be marked off.
Also, heard the new store that is opening, Kilgore's Vintage + Design, on Thompson Ave., is a store currently in Orrick that is moving here! So welcome them!

Word on the Street is that the new store,Sincerely, Jones,
is now open in the downtown on Thompson Avenue between Woodchux and Blue Bird Couture!
They have a little bit of everything - home décor, candles, jewelry, Swig tumblers/mugs, coffee cups, accessories, stationary/cards, journals, etc. Most of the items they bring in are artisan made in small batches so they can support people and their creations, instead of big corporations.
