In 2020, with your support, JFS...

  • provided a continuity of care through telehealth and remote service delivery.
  • launched JFS OnCall, QuaranTeen, VSTEP (Virtual Support to Essential People), and other initiatives to address the challenges of the pandemic.
  • successfully provided the FutureLink job readiness curriculum virtually, to students statewide.
  • delivered over 600 "Stay-at-Home Survival Kits" to older adults and school students to promote connection, activity, and engagement from the safety of their homes.
  • virtually delivered a Workshop and Support Community for Family and Friends Impacted by Addiction.
  • welcomed Cancer Care Connection as an affiliate to the JFS family.
  • grew the capacity and awareness of JFS COMPASS, our unique dementia care and caregiver support program.
  • established a response to the complex challenges of unemployment caused by COVID-19 through the Employment Support Network.
  • celebrated the strength and resilience of the women in our lives through our first Mother's Day campaign.
  • received multiple grants and gifts to support COVID response efforts and ongoing JFS programs.
  • provided direct COVID relief funds to JFS clients and community members.
  • strengthened our referral network and partnerships with other organizations and experts in our community.
  • hosted a Virtual Wellness Summit to share resources and messages of resilience.
  • established an Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion Committee to lead our organization through new internal goals and priorities, as well as promote JFS' presence in the community as an ally and advocate.
  • grew our team and earned recognition as a Top Workplace in 2020.
  • continued building a culture of resilience, balance, and compassion.
