Conference Registration is Now Open

Registration for the 2021 County Reconnect Conference is now open! We’ve been anticipating the moment to connect with our county family in person – from county officials, local government partners, and various exhibitors and vendors – and are now one step closer. Please keep in mind that this year’s conference will be a bit different as there are still many things we must consider to do our best to keep our county family safe as we continue the fight against COVID-19. If you were unable to attend one of the County Reconnect Conference webinars, please click here to review important information for all conference attendees.

Here are few reminders that will be helpful as county commissioners work with their county clerks/designated registrar to get registered for the conference:

1. Registration will still be handled by the county clerk/designated registrar. *Reminder for county clerks/designated registrars to refer to the registration checklist cheat sheet to ensure a successful registration process.

2. The deadline for hotel reservations is Monday, October 11. Hotel reservations will be made through Visit Savannah! ACCG has negotiated discounted room rates at seven Savannah hotels for this conference:

• Doubletree Hotel Historic Savannah - $199
• Hampton Inn Historic Savannah - $189
• Hilton Garden Inn Historic Savannah - $199
• Holiday Inn Express Historic Savannah - $189
• Hyatt Regency Savannah - $232

3. ACCG will ask every attendee, spouse/guest, exhibitor, and staff member to choose the color of name tag lanyard that most accurately reflects that person’s level of comfort with respect to the current COVID-19 public health environment.

4. An agenda and other conference details can be found in the conference information sheet. Once available, all conference updates and details will be shared on the dedicated conference website.

5. Get excited! We haven’t hosted a large, in -person event in more than a year. We are excited to see you all and will be sharing conference updates leading up to the first day of the event. So, be sure to monitor your email to learn more about the keynote speaker, conference sessions, and the Saturday night celebration.
