2021 FAFP Elections - Your Vote Matters
All active, life and supporting FAFP members are eligible to VOTE for the FAFP 2021 election of officers, board members, delegates and the at-large nominating committee member per Chapter IV of the FAFP Bylaws.  Please note that since there were no write-in candidates, after being solicited via the FAFP News, the ballot remains unchanged from the FAFP Nominating Committee's original slate, as approved by the FAFP Board of Directors, with each position being uncontested.

Per the bylaws, eligible members are still required to vote and accept the slate as presented through Monday, November 1. Again, please CLICK HERE to vote. Any questions can be directed to Jay Millson (jmillson@fafp.org) - thank you for your engagement.

Register for FAFP's 2021 Moovember Challenge:
Deadline is November 5
The Florida Academy is encouraging all FAFP members and their staff to "Just Moove" throughout the month of November by completing 30 miles of exercise - that's only one mile per day!  The miles can be accomplished via any form of exercise throughout the month (e.g., walk/jog/hike, row, bike, swim, elliptical, stair climber, etc.) with all finishers receiving a free FAFP 2021 MOOvember T-shirt. Registration for yourself and your staff* is required so the FAFP can plan for logistics. However, verification of completion is on the honor system and must include a picture of yourself and staff in order to receive t-shirts - instructions will be sent. The deadline to register is Friday November 5 so do not delay!

*All staff must register individually.  FAFP will do everything within reason to accommodate large offices/staff who register - any questions can be sent to dwalker@fafp.org.

October Member Spotlight: Dr. Kelsey Williams
"Most people know me as a friendly smile and an uplifting comment, but for those who don't know me, my name is Kelsey Williams and I am a resident at Ascension St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville. I’m from a tiny town named Pelzer in South Carolina and before I wanted to be a physician, I wanted to be a princess. This speaks to the longevity of my desire to give of myself to others, but also my drive to do the impossible-- just like you."
