2021 Guest Speaker: Paul Chelimo
We are extremely excited to announce American Olympian and U.S. Army veteran, Paul Chelimo, will be the featured guest speaker at the Breakfast of Champions and Gourmet Pasta Dinner as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Air Force Marathon! Chelimo was the Olympic bronze medalist in the 5000 meters in Tokyo this morning with a season best time of 12 minutes 59:05 seconds. He was the 2016 Olympic silver medalist at the 5000 meters in Rio and the 2017 World Championship bronze medalist at the 5000 meters. Chelimo is also scheduled to conduct a Facebook Live interview with the Air Force Marathon director for those unable to attend either of the above events. Research Participants Needed
Air Force Research Lab ( AFRL) is looking for Air Force Marathon participants willing to participate in research for AFRL to improve the safety at future events. Participants will wear a small sensor connected to their Android phone (you must have an Android phone in order to participate in the research). Fill out the questionnaire here and you will be contacted via email with more information.

The Health & Fitness Expo is scheduled for Thursday, September 16th and Friday, September 17th. Race weekend will also feature a Breakfast of Champions and Gourmet Pasta Dinner on Friday, September 17th.
