Organized and engaged in a peaceful disruptive counter protest to “Reproductive Rights” Women’s March, sponsored by Planned Parenthood. FCLNY banner featured at DC counter protest. 

US Supreme Court Rally, Washington, DC. Organized and engaged in demonstration, with a multitude of other pro-life feminists, regarding ‘abortion rights’ at oral argument on Dobbs vs. Jackson.

Every Black Life Matters, Stand Up Against Planned Parenthood Expansion, Rochester, NY. Participated in rally, along with BRAVE and members of the Frederick Douglass Foundation.

 

Black Lives Matter, Anti-Police Brutality Protest, Rochester, NY. Groups marching included, Free The People Roc, The Arc of Justice and the Community Justice Initiative. FCLNY engaged with FCLNY signs All Black Lives Matter.

PROJECTS THAT EMPOWER

Women’s Health and Pregnancy Resources in NY. FCLNY and Feminists for Non-Violent Choices (FFNVC) distributed copies of our Women’s Guide to Health Care. FCLNY completed a full update of its Pregnancy Resource Center Guide and disseminated these colorful, inspiring, informative booklets state-wide!

 

Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence Hot-Line Poster Campaign! FCLNY distributed trafficking and DV hotline posters to NY health care providers, in person, including Planned Parenthoods and other abortion facilities.


Sunday Salons. Manhattan, Buffalo, Rochester, Albany. Discussion topics included feminism, abortion, poverty, racism, capital punishment, war, military spending and sex trafficking. 


The Monarca Project, Rochester, NY. FCLNY, along with The Margaret Home and Angels of Mercy continued preparations for the launching of our peer support group for victims of trauma, including, sex trafficking, intimate partner violence and abortion.

 

Emergency Baby Showers! Buffalo and Rochester, NY. FCLNY raised up and delivered necessities for several mothers in need.

 

Bake Sale for Ultrasound Machines! Buffalo, NY. FCLNY partnered with several pro-life feminists and Life Church to participate in a bake sale, which raised the needed funds for an ultrasound machine for Pregnancy Resource Center in NY.  

LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY

Limited Pregnancy Services Study. These bills are likely to adversely impact pro-life NYS Pregnancy Resource Centers because they do not provide or promote abortion services. Women facing unplanned pregnancies need life-affirming options! #A. 5499, #S. 470

 

​Medicaid Coverage for Childbirth. These bills require medicaid coverage for hospital stays 48/96 hours for moms and their newborn babies. #A. 3386, #S. 916

 

Physician Assisted Suicide. Proposed law allows medical doctors to prescribe lethal amounts of medication for the purpose of ending a patient's life. #A. 4321-A

Save Hyde! Protested at legislators’ district offices and participated in a pilgrimage to President Jimmy Carter’s home town, in Plains GA, to humbly ask for the preservation of the HYDE Amendment.

Annual Spring Picnic! We had a blast at our picnic this year. Our summer interns were so helpful and enthusiastic! Our speakers included the amazing Catherine Glen Foster, President and CEO of Americans United for Life, Terrisa Bukovinac, founder of PAAU (Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising) as well as WAAV attorneys Civiletto and Collett, who provided an update on the status of the NY RHA lawsuit.
