2021 MoCo Epic Update #1 (GPS Tracks Included)

Thank YOU for registering for MORE's 11th annual MoCo Epic!

We are excited to have an awesome MTB community which supports natural surface, multi-use, public trails in DC, MD and VA. 👏 Additional thanks to the volunteers and sponsors that make this event possible. Maps are updated, signs are ordered and trails are being prepped for the big event!

Avoid Pickup Lines!

Based on current registration (688 riders), the 2021 MoCo Epic will truly be epic. With the potential for registration lines on Sunday we ask that if at all possible, swing by SGBP on Saturday and pickup your packet. While you're there, consider taking in the Best Jump/Trick and Fastest Superlap competitions!

COVID Update

During all MoCo Epic festivities we will be following all local and state guidelines in place to limit the spread of COVID. We will pass along any information that we receive from the state of Maryland or Montgomery County as it is made available. Regardless of requirements in place, we ask that you be considerate of volunteers and other riders, and respect their preferences for mask wearing and distance preferences.

When you prep your water bottles and ride food, please include a mask as we expect to have some high-traffic areas where masks will be recommended.

Please note that on Sunday, October 10th there will be optional sections of private property "open" for use and we will post signage on those routes. The routes included above may be used for planning, training and on October 10.

Even if you know the cut-throughs previously used

PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM UNTIL OCTOBER 10TH

Property owners are generous with allowing us access on "ride day" and any use before that jeopardizes usage for future MoCo Epics!
