Dear Bishop Grimes Community,
Happy Summer!
On behalf of all of us at Bishop Grimes, I would like to wish our students and families a Happy Summer and Congratulations on a very successful end to the 20-21 school year! A BG Welcome to our new families and students that will be joining us this year! We are very proud to have started the year as one of the only schools that has remained open 5 days a week, since the very first day. Additionally, we are happy to report that since ending our mask mandate, during the final weeks, we have had zero cases. This is all thanks to the efforts of our staff, families, and students.
Before we all enjoy a much deserved break, I wanted to be sure and communicate upfront about important topics for summer: school office hours, cobra camps, summer assignments, important dates etc. Every month throughout the school year, beginning in September, I will highlight what is happening at our school, provide reminders, reference links, and give an overview of certain topics. I will also provide the contact information for who to reach out to if you need more information on any topic, as we align with our new Vision, email is our number one means of communication. Also included in this email, is a list of links to our website that provide our calendar, staff directory, schedule, student handbook, etc. It is imperative you become familiar with our website and these documents.
