Insights for Healthcare Leaders & Change-Makers
Dear HCEG Colleagues and Friends:

Healthcare was turned upside down in 2020 by COVID-19. Thankfully, HCEG not only survived but continued to advance thought leadership and networking on priorities of importance identified by healthcare leaders – priorities that existed last year at this time and new priorities exposed by COVID-19.

With a number of new executives joining HCEG for 2021, we are forming discussion groups on these priorities identified by our members and supported by industry thought leaders and technology partners. Additional research and member surveys on best practices and success stories in addressing healthcare priorities is underway and we will be challenging healthcare leaders and the industry to accelerate innovation and change.

We welcome you to join HCEG in 2021 and share your insights and perspectives. Read on for more on the above, additional resources, and upcoming activities.

Be safe and stay well,

Executive Director

An Expanded HCEG Top 10 List for 2021
In January, input received from 75 HCEG members and information culled from 50 lists of predictions and trends shared by industry executives, thought leaders, and consulting organizations was used to define the 2021 HCEG Top 10+ list.

In addition to “Pandemic Impact, Preparedness & Response” and “Supply Chain Optimization” identified in a special COVID-19 survey performed last summer, four additional themes are included in the 2021 HCEG Top 10+:

  1. Culture/Innovation/Leadership
  2. Technology
  3. M & A/Joint Ventures
  4. Public Health/Population Health
