Published in 2007, Cooking with Shelburne Farms:​​ Food and Stories from Vermont by Melissa Pasanen and Rick Gencarelli (a former head chef at the Inn), is a much-loved cookbook of staff and friends. We’re sharing a favorite recipe featuring our pasture-raised lamb and cheddar.

Shelburne Farms is a nonprofit education organization inspiring and cultivating learning for a sustainable future. Based on Abenaki land along the shores of Lake Champlain, our campus is a 1,400-acre working farm, forest, and National Historic Landmark.
