Great work to all of our coaches and referees during the 2022 season, and a special congratulations to all of the winning coaches on their accomplishments.

Ottawa TFC thanks all players, coaches, staff coaches, managers, referees, volunteers, parents, partners, board members, and everyone who helped make this summer a great success! We couldn't have done it without you!

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY!

A message from Blaise Basson Bassolé...

My name is Blaise Basson Bassolé and I’m teacher at Gisèle-Lalonde High school. Before I came to Canada in 2001 through "Les 4e Jeux de la Francophonie", I was a P.E teacher and volleyball coach in my country Burkina Faso, West Africa for 17 years. Now that I’m in Canada, and knowing that it’s very hard to get sport supplies to train youth in my country, I invest myself to collect any sport supplies to send to sports school in Burkina Faso to help P.E teachers and coaches’ mentor young people in the practice of their sports.

In the beginning, I was doing that only for volleyball, but now, I collect any sports material to send to them (such as volleyball, basketball, soccer, handball, hockey, etc.). I have been doing that for more than 10 years, but this year, 2022, was the best year of all due to the soccer material that Ottawa TFC gave to me: jerseys, shorts, socks, balls, water bottles, medals, old trophies, etc.

With this material I was able to organize for the first time, a soccer tournament between 3 regions. It was a big success and they are waiting for the same to happen next summer. A lot of thanks to Ottawa TFC for their generosity!

Do you have a story you would like to share with Ottawa TFC about your implication in the community?

Do not hesitate to send a brief description as well as pictures to admin@ottawatfc.com
