Instructional coaching is a proven, job-embedded professional development strategy whereby a highly skilled educator works with other educators in a collegial and collaborative manner to strengthen instructional practice. Our instructional coaches networking meetings are designed for instructional coaches, teacher leaders, and/or specialists as a means to communicate, collaborate, and share resources with one another to help strengthen classroom instruction, student achievement and engagement. Materials and information that is disseminated during this professional development opportunity will help build capacity and support for instructional coaches in districts and schools.

All handouts and resources will be shared electronically. Please bring a computer, tablet or mobile device to access materials for the session.

Learner Outcomes:

• Facilitate deeper learning to hone and continuously refine critical coaching skills.
• Explore multiple coaching models aimed at supporting coaches in identifying tools that work best in their environments.
• Provide research-based high yield instructional strategies, problem-solving protocols, and data analysis tools.

Audience:

Administrators, Instructional Coaches, Content Area Specialists, Teacher Leaders, and Technology Coaches.
