$1.7M Raised to Support JA’s Programs
Junior Achievement of South Florida (JA) kicked off the 2022-2023 school year in partnership with Broward County Public Schools, Broward County, local elected officials and the business community at the annual Community Breakfast, celebrating the opening of our new storefront partners.
Whether JA was empowering young ladies at Girls Rule: Ignite Your Superpower, connecting prominent business leaders to the mission of The League at the Ultimate Night Out, sipping on Rosé while honoring career-inspired young ladies through scholarships at Rosé Soirée, celebrating notable leaders committed to innovation and community excellence at the JA Business Hall of Fame, preparing our students for summer success with academic, financial literacy and summer safety materials at Books, Bucks and Backpacks or even partying the night away at JA World Uncorked -- our annal signature events were a major success.
Thanks to ALL of our event sponsors, partners, volunteers and attendees, JA was able to raise $1.7 million to support our financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness programs, which served approximately 73,000 students during the 2022-2023 school year! Our Events team is busy meeting with vendors and planning ways to make these events more spectacular for the 2023-2024 school year.
Relive some of the highlights from our events!
