Capturing KM: New Bus Cams Will Capture License Plates Of Traffic Violations

Mr. Plum visits with Kettle Moraine School Resource Officer Jamie Soneberg about new cameras on the exterior of school buses. The external cameras, installed on 18 of the 40 Dousman Transportation buses serving KM, will capture license plates of drivers who ignore the stop sign and cause dangerous situations for students.

KMHS Grad Ellie Szczech Named Waukesha's 2023 Fairest Of The Fair

Kettle Moraine High School 2022 graduate Ellie Szczech was recently named Waukesha’s 2023 Fairest of the Fair and her accomplishment was featured in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel!

“I’m definitely just enjoying the last year of taking chickens and cows and all the animals that I’ve taken over the years,” said Szczech.

Can Your Family Host An Exchange Student This Year?

Two students would like to attend Kettle Moraine High School this school year and your family can help make their dreams a reality! Lara is a 15-year-old from Germany, and Anna is a 16-year-old from France. Lara enjoys cross country, camping, skiing, hiking and swimming. Anna enjoys volleyball, hiking, track and cross country, animals, and movies.

The girls are working with the non-profit organization student exchange organization Nacel Open Door. Anna and Lara will pay all their expenses, and have medical insurance. They speak English, and want to improve and learn American culture.

5K in Kettle Moraine

Children who are 5 years old on or before September 1 may attend kindergarten this fall in the Kettle Moraine School District. The kindergarten program is held from 8:30 a.m. - 3:35 p.m. (except Thursdays with an Early Release at 3:05 p.m.) at every elementary school in the district. Where you live will determine which school your child will attend. Learn more about 5K!

4K in Kettle Moraine

Children who are four years old on or before September 1 may attend 4K beginning in the fall in the Kettle Moraine School District. Classes begin at 8:20 and run until 11:05. Classes are offered at four school sites and several community partner sites. Learn more about 4K!

Girls entering grades 3-8 are encouraged to tryout for the KM Girls Basketball Club. Tryouts are for two mandatory dates. Pre-registration is required no later than August 8 at https://www.kmgbc.com.
