New Event!

On August 9, 2022, the Logan Elm Athletic Department hosted "Meet the Teams Night" at Logan Elm Stadium. With an estimated attendance of over 1,000 athletes, band members, coaches, staff, administrators and community members, the event was a huge success! Students from across the district were able to take part in a Wiffle Ball Home Run Derby, 3-Point competition and a Punt, Pass and Kick competition, while others enjoyed cornhole and took a shot at dunking alumni, Jason Sailor and Isaac Ward, in the dunk tank. City Barbeque donated and served over 500 meals and the Athletic Boosters and Board of Education provided hamburgers and hot dogs. 

In an opening speech to all of the Logan Elm Staff Members, Mr. Tim Williams explained that the district administrators were asked to narrow down a list to one word that they wanted to be a focus for the district this year. That word was "FAMILY." As we reflected on "Meet the Teams night" and the success of the event for our students, this same focus was easy to see.

We are Braves! We are a strong Community. We are a family.

The event would not have been possible without the support and help of many individuals. The Logan Elm Athletic Department would like to thank City Barbeque for donating food for this event. We would also like to thank Tyler Pritchard for dontaing tables, chairs and a tent. A big thank you goes to Doug Stiverson, Jeff Holbert, Terry Holbert, Chad Savage, Damon Baker, Jeremy Neff and Ted Dille for running the activites;  Amy Colburn, Becky Davis, Katie Piacentini, Terry Borland, Rachel Largent and Michelle Holbert for serving food; and, Mike Schultz, Dan Bise and Scott Pontious for cooking the hamburgers and hot dogs. The Circleville Sheriff's department provided the dunk tank and 2021 grads-Jason Sailor and Issac Ward were fantastic volunteers.
