Hello TIME Task Force Members,

December 31, 2021 marks the end of the year and the beginning of the new TIME Task Force Board of Directors two-year terms. As a result, we are calling for nominations for seven (7) Board of Directors Officers positions. The positions available are:

• Director of Law Enforcement
• Director of Fire
• Director of Towing and Recovery
• Director of Transportation
• Director of Member-at-Large
• Director of Emergency Medical Services
• Director of Planning

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for promoting first responder and emergency responder safety, and a strong commitment to inter-agency coordination and cooperation. The TIME Task Force is made up of industry specific professionals from a variety of disciplines, who share in this common interest. The TIME Board of Directors (BOD) is also committed to enhancing multi-agency training, promoting teamwork, and the development of common operation strategies for traffic incident management enhancement.

Officers serving on the BOD are representative of Georgia agencies supporting traffic incident management principles and strategies. TIME Task force officers have the authority and the responsibility to direct and manage all affairs of the TIME organization. Officers are selected by nomination and then voted on by the Board of Directors.

Officers elected during this process will begin their two-year term beginning January 1, 2022. Current Officers may be nominated and serve a second consecutive two-year term providing they haven’t served two consecutive two-year terms. Nominees who have served previously but have had at least a one (1) year break in service are eligible for nomination.

Nominations are due by 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2021
