2022 BY THE NUMBERS

2022 IS IN THE BOOKS! HERE ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS:

1 New Digital Tracking Software

We spent most of 2022 developing a new GIS tracking software that will better allow us to track projects and to tie donors to the individual projects that their generosity made possible. We are in the final stages of development/implementation and look forward to integrating it into our new website. Stay tuned, we will be sharing access to this information in coming months.

2 New Schools Built

Thanks to generous donors, Family Humanitarian was able to construct new schools in Dungu, Ghana and Buyaga, Uganda. These schools will provide an education for over 2,200 students annually.

3 New Countries

In 2022, Family Humanitarian made plans to open clean water programs in 3 new countries – Liberia, Kenya, and Zambia. Preparations are still under way, and we hope to begin work early this year.

5 Expeditions

239 people participated in an amazing, life-changing adventure where they had the opportunity to work side-by-side with local villagers on sustainable water and education projects that promote empowerment and self-reliance. They immersed themselves in a new culture, expanded their hearts and minds, and made friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

56 New Water Projects

Over 124,000 people were given the gift of clean water for life this year. The water projects moved slower than normal due to the development of the GIS tracking system, but we are all caught up and looking forward to an amazingly productive 2023. We anticipate that water projects will be completed in a time period of 3 to 6 months from the time of donation. We are anxious to expand further and provide clean water to everyone, everywhere.
