Interactive Resource Center is Guilford County’s only day resource center for people currently facing, experiencing, or coming out of homelessness. The IRC provides everything from showers, laundry and a mailing address to medical and mental health care, case management and employment services. We support the IRC with donations of grab-and-go foods and coffee supplies – cups of soup, peanut butter crackers, graham crackers, cheese/peanut butter crackers, Little Debbie snacks, Slim Jim sticks, individually packaged Cheez-It Snack Crackers, soft cereal and granola bars, cookies and Goldfish crackers. We are also collecting coffee essentials, such as sugar packets and powdered creamers, laundry detergent and liquid hand soap. Questions: Email or call Eileen Lloyd ([email protected]); 336-549-7766.
Doris Henderson Newcomers School is a Guilford County school that serves recently arrived immigrant and refugee students in grades 3-12 who are novice English speakers. We are supporting the Newcomers School with gifts of clothing and toys. Signup to choose a gift for one of 20 children on the Signup Genius.
RHA Dobson Group Home is a Guilford County group home that houses adult men with developmental disabilities. We are supporting the Group Home with gifts of clothing and items of personal interest to each resident. Signup to choose a gift for one of four men on the Signup Genius, including a larger gift for the home. You’ll find details on the Angel Tree stockings and a link on the College Park website home page. Questions: Email or call Eileen Lloyd ([email protected]); 336-549-7766.
Monetary Donations:
If you don’t have the time or desire to shop and want to participate, donations of money to support the project are welcome. The Missions Team uses cash donations to ensure that all gift requests are met. Anything donated beyond the need will be offered in support of College Park’s Christmas Eve offering. Please designate “Angel Tree” when giving.
