The Annual AIA Long Island Chapter Design Awards Program recognizes excellence in architectural design by Long Island Architects
and/or Long Island projects.

The program’s goal is to increase awareness of today’s outstanding architecture and to honor the architects, clients and consultants who work together to create these projects.

  • Residential Single Family (under $1 million) 
  • Residential Single Family (from $1 to $3 million) 
  • Residential Single Family (over $3 million) 
  • New Residential multiple/family/mixed use. 
  • New Commercial Facilities (under $4 million) 
  • New Commercial Facilities (over $4 million) 
  • New Mercantile (under $4 million) 
  • New Mercantile (over $4 million) 
  • Commercial Mercantile renovations and additions 
  • Institutional/Hospitality/Health Care/Government/Transportation/Educational 
  • Small Projects any category (under $300,000.00) 
  • Small Firm (less than five (5) employees including Principal) or Sole Practitioner 
  • Historic Restoration/Adaptive Re-Use 
  • Unbuilt Projects (Eligible only when a Client is named) 
  • Residential Interiors of any kind, including renovations 
  • Non-Residential Interiors of any kind, including renovations 
  • Sustainable Design
  • Submit registration and entries using the Archi Awards Online Submission Platform no later than FRIDAY August 26, 2022 (11:59 PM EST).
  • No extension time will be given.
