CAAHEP's 2022 CoA Summer Workshop is scheduled for July 15-16, at the beautiful B Ocean Resort Hotel in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, and the CAAHEP Board and staff are looking forward to RECONNECTING with everyone! The Planning Committee, which includes Ron Hunt (ACATE), Mike Miller (CoAEMSP), and Robin Seabrook (NCOPE), has developed an agenda that is sure to engage, update, and educate the leaders of our Committee on Accreditation. The Summer Workshop agenda is chock-full of sessions that will engage attendees in conversations on topics that address issues all CoAs face while providing examples of how some CoAs successfully address these challenges. Topics include:

• Core Competencies
• Using Student Learning Outcomes for Summative Measures
• Site Visits: Lessons Learned
• Due Process
• Communication Strategies
• CAAHEP/CHEA/Higher Education Updates
• Distance Education Policy and Program Review
• International Accreditation

The CoA Summer Workshop is being held at the beautiful B Ocean Resort in Fort Lauderdale. The resort includes four restaurants and three bars, private beaches, and two resort swimming pools. Plus there's the world-famous Wreck Bar Mermaid Show that occurs every Friday and Saturday. 

CAAHEP covers the registration fee, travel expenses, and two nights of accommodations for one attendee from each CoA. Additional attendees from each CoA are welcome, with no limit on the number of attendees, and the CoA is responsible for the travel and hotel expenses. The registration fee for additional workshop attendees is $149.  

All hotel accommodations are to be arranged through CAAHEP and will be sent to the hotel on a master rooming list. Additional CoA attendees' hotel expenses will be invoiced to the CoA after the workshop.
