Hello all! Hope you all have gotten through the Holiday Season and have turned off your outdoor Holiday lights by now! You don’t need to have taken them down, just turned off!

Happy Ground Hog Day, Valentines Day, and President’s Day!



In the event of a severe weather scenario here are a couple of things you can do to prepare yourself:

1. Make sure you have your seven days of food, water, medicine, and toilet paper. 
2. Heed all the warnings that will be coming out and keep your cars full of gas and if the roads are icy – stay home!  
3. Only venture out if you have a car/truck that’s equipped for winter driving – 4 wheel drive or chains. Call 911 if there is an emergency. I am confident that the electrical and water utility problems have been fixed. But--make sure your propane tanks are full, your wood pile is dry, and you have a full bath tub for flush water! 
4. Also check your CO2 and smoke alarms.  As good neighbors – we all are on the watch for each other! 

Our February Board meeting will be on the 16^th. It’s an important meeting for us in that we will finalize the planning for our Annual Meeting that is on Saturday, March 19^th. We are in really good shape for the transition this year – so if you have any suggestions for the Annual Meeting - just let us know.

Black History Month

On February 10, 1976 Gerald R. Ford recognized Black History Month, by saying, “seize the opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of Black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history."

February 1o is not only a date in time, it's also a time to honor the contributions and legacy of African Americans across U.S. history and society—from activists and civil rights pioneers such as Fredrick Douglass, Martin Luther King Jr., and Rosa Parks to leaders in industry, politics, science, culture and more.

President's Day

The original purpose of President's Day was to celebrate our first President's birthday, George Washington. Now more then two centuries later we use it to celebrate our past and present leaders. So we would like thank everyone who was willing to lead our country through its worse days and its best!

Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is a day in which we celebrate the love and kindness that we cherish with the individuals that we love the most. It's not only a day to spend with your loved ones but a day to show love to the people around you.

What it means to be a good neighbor

"This family was confused when they kept finding their garbage cans back up at their garage every garbage day. Check out one man's act of kindness"
