Thank you for registering for the 2022 Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade and Pups at the Pub Party. We are so excited to have you and your furry friends at this paw-tastic event this Saturday! Please take a few minutes to read over the following information to help minimize day-of confusion.

• Check-in and Day-of Registration is located at 5th Avenue and L Street!
• To be able to walk in the parade and to be considered for the judging contest, participants must check-in at the designated Check-In tent prior to 12:30 PM
• Each pet will be designated an ID number and then make their way over to the Judging area across the Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony at the Pups at the Pub Party at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter following the Pet Parade.
• Please be sure to only attire your pet in comfortable, pet-friendly costumes.

All entries must be checked in NO LATER than 12:30 PM

Parade Route:

●     Begin at 5th Ave. & L St.

●     Heading North along 5th Ave

●     Turn left on J Street

●     Turn Right on 4th Ave

●     Turn right on Island Ave

●     Left to get back on 5th Ave

●     Transition West on E St.

●     Head South on 4th Ave.,

●     Return to Hilton Gaslamp Park

      at 401 K Street

Don’t forget to come to the Pups at the Pub Party afterward at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, shop from some holiday vendors, enjoy a drink and light bites, be a part of our costume contest awards ceremony, and more!



Pups at the Pub goes from 2:00 - 5:00 PM. All ages are welcome!

• Check-In closes promptly at 12:30 PM. Entries MUST be checked in prior to this time or they will not be able to participate. 
• Due to the danger of physical injury, insurance requirements, and littering problems, all parade participants are forbidden to throw anything. You may HAND out candy/ dog treats with permission from other pet owners
•  All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult/ guardian.
• All entries are required to maintain continuous forward motion during the parade. Do not stop unless instructed by a parade volunteer for safety reasons. 
• Do your best to minimize large gaps in the parade. 
• Once the parade is over, please be aware that the roads re-open and normal traffic laws apply.

Event Details:

San Diego pets and owners are invited to dress up in their favorite costumes for a special promenade throughout the Gaslamp Quarter to celebrate the holiday season at the 2022 Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade and Pups at the Pub Party on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

Guests will enjoy a festive parade at 1:00pm and the Pups at the Pup Party at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter (401 K Street, San Diego, CA 92101). Participants will enjoy fun costume contests, prize giveaways, photo ops, drinks, music and more. Bring your whole family, including your furry family members for this jolly procession through the Gaslamp Quarter!
