Announcing the 2022 NIC Gold and Silver Medal, Awards of Distinction and Laurel Wreath Award Honorees
We are proud to announce the 2022 recipients of the Gold and Silver Medals, Awards of Distinction and Laurel Wreath Awards. These honors recognize individuals, chapters, councils and organizations annually to highlight those who exemplify excellence in leadership, service and education within the fraternal community.
GOLD AND SILVER MEDALS

The presentation of the NIC Gold Medal and NIC Silver Medal dates back more than 70 years, making it one of the oldest interfraternal traditions. The Gold Medal is the highest honor the Conference can bestow and recognizes lifelong service to the interfraternal community and/or the NIC. The Silver Medal recognizes exemplary service or leadership in a role or task that has advanced the fraternal movement.
Dr. Victor Boschini | Gold Medal
A fraternity man with a lifetime of service to higher education, Dr. Victor Boschini has made an impact on numerous institutions, organizations and communities. His service and dedication have been recognized by the Institute of International Education as well as his own organization, Sigma Nu Fraternity.
Dr. Thomas Goodale | Gold Medal
A strong advocate for the fraternal movement throughout his career, Dr. Thomas Goodale is a notable educator and leader who supports students and professionals across the nation. His ability to inspire, motivate, serve and love others is unmatched; he gives 100% of himself every day and in every moment to those he leads and serves. 
Betsy Corridan | Silver Medal
Participating and taking an active stance in all of the Harvard Steering Committee meetings, Betsy Corridan led the charge among sorority executives to join the fight in supporting and advocating for the rights of students. Her work on this committee and throughout her nearly 40 years as Kappa Alpha Theta's CEO and Executive Director has unquestionably advanced the Greek-letter movement.
Dr. Dawn Wiese | Silver Medal
Dr. Dawn Wiese is passionate about advancing student development and never turns down a request to engage in efforts to create, educate, communicate, promote or coordinate any research effort that strengthens the overall student experience, with full recognition that through fraternities and sororities the overall college experience is significantly stronger. 
UNDERGRADUATE AWARD OF DISTINCTION

This award seeks to recognize fraternity men who have found in their experience an outlet for developing as both a leader and a better man. The recipients are those who embody the values of their fraternity and expect the same from those with whom they associate. Congratulations to:
