"Together We Care" 2022.11 Newsletter
Richmond Caregivers at a workshop on October 13
In the past month, we worked with community partners including Minoru Centre for Active Living, ICBC, Transit Police, and VCH to deliver resources and support from various perspectives. We are so blessed and grateful to have all these incredible organizations and people being there for the caregivers.

The end of the year is approaching. We are organizing a small party in December for caregivers to celebrate and mingle. Meanwhile, we are working with Gateway Theatre to provide a special Christmas prize for caregivers. See more details in this newsletter.

Taking care of a family member with cancer is not a cake walk. However, for Elaine Chan, the caregiving journey is considered "a rare opportunity to harness the love, strength and endurance to weather life’s mysteries and beauty."

No one was alone. Family, friends, community have been there for each other. Elaine believes "we are stronger together" and is willing to share all her tips and reflections here with us.
Would you like to share your stories or tips? You cannot imagine how much you could inspire or help another in the community! You are welcome to call us at 604-279-7099, or email [email protected].
