Congratulations to the ladies at Seabrook Island Club for defending their title and winning the 2022 Palmetto Cup Championship!
It was a beautiful day at Country Club of Spartanburg for the Annual WSCGA Palmetto Cup Championship. The field consisted of 20 teams and 120 players on the challenging Country Club of Spartanburg with greens as smooth and fast as a table top. The format is a two person best ball match play nassau, gross, with 2 points front, 2 points back, and 2 point total up for grabs in each match. Each team has 6 players competing for a team total of 18 points possible. All the teams battled until the end with the championship team, Seabrook Island Club, edging out 4 teams to win by one point with a team total of 15. Tying for second place were the teams of: Country Club of Spartanburg, Links at Stoney Point, Tega Cay Golf & Community, and The Cliffs at Glassy.
