A message from our Executive Director
For the past several years, we have put together holiday resource guides to help the community celebrate the holidays. I am happy to share with you our 2022 Passover Resource Guide.

We hope that this year's collection of resources assists you and your family make Passover a little bit more meaningful and special this year. Below you will find everything from how to liven up your seder and additional readings you can use while going through the Haggadah, to new recipes, resources for families with young children, and even the history of gefilte fish.

As we have previously shared, we have been working with many of our local grocery chains to maximize the availability of Passover-related food and items. One way we have done that is to encourage them to centralize their largest displays throughout our community. Click here to find out where they are located and a few Passover ads from the local chains.

On behalf of the Jewish Federation of the Greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys’ Board of Governors and Staff, I wish you and your family a very happy and meaningful Passover.

Like our ancestors, we hunker down in our homes while a plague swirls around us, and look toward redemption.
The haroset paste eaten at the Passover Seder recalls the mortar the Israelite slaves used to build in Egypt. So why is it so sweet?
The Mishnah says the seder must begin with the disgrace of enslavement and end with praise of God.
