Important Registration Information
We are so excited for the longer daylight hours and eventual outdoor riding that come with spring! There will also be mud, a lot of mud. But we prefer to focus on the sunshine and return of full sensation to our currently frozen toes.
If you are interested in part boarding this summer, now is the time to start putting those plans into action.
Please see below for some important information about how the spring session will run.
- Due to our spring horse show schedule the 10 weeks will not all run consecutively. We will be breaking for the weeks of May 9th, 16th and 30th. The last week of lessons is the week of June 13th. Please see our Master Calendar below for more details on which dates lessons will and will not run. We will do our best to stick to this plan and alert you to any major changes but changes may happen, so check it regularly.
-
We will be prioritizing lessons for our existing boarders, part boarders and lesson clients and then filling in with new clients depending on space, matching availability for arena time, instructors and horses.
- We ask that you be as flexible as possible as we do our best to draft a schedule that will accommodate as many riders as possible while still allowing our boarders space to ride and us to maintain a personal connection with each of our students. Evenings and weekends will fill up very fast, weekday/daytime availability will increase your chances of getting a spot.
- PRIVATE and SEMI-PRIVATE lessons are ONLY available on weekdays between 8AM and 2:00PM (no evenings or weekends) and we cannot guarantee that we will have availability then either.
- If you sign up for private or semi-private lessons this spring you will mostly likely be placed in a group lesson. We unfortunately do not have enough time, space, instructors or horse power to accommodate many (if any) private or semi-private lessons. The good news is, group lessons are more fun and you have the added benefit of watching and learning from others in your lesson!

In order to stay up to date with any last minute cancellations or changes to the schedule, clinic and show opportunities and other farm news, please join our members only Facebook group (link below). We try to send out major changes by email, but it is not always possible to do this in time, so this group acts as our main bulletin board. Please answer the membership questions, you must be a current client or employee of OOF to join the group.
