The Morris Township Department of Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the next concert in its Free Summer Concert Series at the Ginty Field Gazebo. On Tuesday, August 2 at 7:00 pm, the classic oldies band Jersey Sound will take the stage for a journey through the biggest hits of the 50's, 60's, and 70's.
The Powerhouse ensemble Jersey Sound delivers. Known for its versatility and talented members, Jersey Sound is one of the Tri State area's most popular premiere oldies band. Jersey Sound puts its own spin on the music industry by presenting a combination of music genres and creating unforgettable music the ear can only imagine. These incredibly gifted musicians and singers come from various musical backgrounds to form one of New Jersey's most requested bands. An eclectic blend of Classic Oldies, Classic Rock, Motown, R&B, British Invasion and Pop originally recorded by the greatest legends of rock and roll is performed by the band’s superb vocalists and a killer rhythm section making the "Jersey Sound" experience one you will never forget.
In addition to countless venues throughout New Jersey, the band has also performed at numerous local feasts, festivals, fund-raisers and town events. Jersey Sound entertains frequently at a number of Active Adult Communities in the Tri-State area. The band also plays regularly at "Summer Concert Series" throughout their home state of New Jersey. Jersey Sound also does a tribute to many of New Jersey’s famous performers: Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, The Rascals, Eddie Rabbit, The Duprees and South Side Johnny and the Asbury Jukes.
