The Boston Children’s Foundation (BCF), founded by Robert Macy and Dicki Johnson Macy, is committed to ending the trauma that perpetuates a culture of fear, maladaptation and violence by turning youth’s natural energy towards healing activities, social empathy and positive relationships.

Dear community,
Happy Summer to you! These past few months at BCF have been filled with the gift of togetherness. Our return to live classes, trainings, and performances has brought joyful reunions, which we cherish with a newfound tenderness after so much time apart.
We also celebrate momentous transitions and new beginnings for our wonderful team members. With every change comes the opportunity for growth and transformation. Riding on the winds of change, we continue to recognize the importance of our community rituals, both ancestral and new, which guide and support us through our life journeys. We offer a heartfelt thank you to those in our community who have shared the journey with us, from dancing inside our living rooms on the virtual screen, to dancing outside on the grass in the summer breeze.
May this next season bring you rejuvenation, inspiration, and celebration!
-The BCF team: Dicki, Rachel, Ashlyn, Bella & Robert

Congratulations to beloved director, Dr. Dicki Johnson Macy, on receiving her Ph.D. in Humanities & Culture with a certificate in Creative Writing from Union Institute & University! Dicki’s doctoral dissertation explored the impact which western patriarchal scripting has had upon adolescent female identity development. At our annual June performance, Duncan dancers gathered together in dance to honor Dicki's glorious achievements and transformation.

34th Annual Student Performance
An Outdoor Celebration of Dance and Community
On Sunday, June 5th, The Art & Technique of Isadora Duncan held its first ever outdoor student performance to celebrate our return to dancing in person. Our Cambridge community dancers and families gathered at Magazine Beach Park with picnic blankets and lawn chairs to witness our dancing celebration.
With the earth supporting our dancing feet, bright skies and lush green trees at our fingertips, and the trickling of the river in the distance, we experienced the true essence of Isadora Duncan’s legacy.
Thank you to all our beautiful dancers and families that attended and participated!

Endorsed Rainbowdance® practitioner, Nick Dalton, shares about his work with Mothers Trust Mothers Place in Ganges, Michigan:
Mothers Trust Mothers Place is an interfaith community dedicated to gender equity as embodied by Sri Rama Krishna and Sarada Devi. We just helped reopen it after being closed for 5 years, as the matriarch passed on my birthday... Mothers Trust Mothers Place is focused on helping mothers and children.
It's where our day of the homeschooling pod meets. We start our day with Rainbowdance in the temple space of the building.
