  • Saturday 17 September - Hub Kickoff Event – Game Reveal, Robot Material Distribution and Training, Englewood High School, 3800 S Logan St,
  • Saturday 22 October - Online Critical Design Review Presentation
  • Saturday 29 October - Engineering Notebook Delivery Due
  • Saturday 29 October - Hub Practice Day Event – Team Practice and Optional BEST Award Marketing Presentation - STRIVE Prep RISE 18250 E 51st Ave Denver (UPDATE)
  • Saturday 12 November - Hub Game Day Event – Team Competition, Judging and Optional BEST Award Team Exhibit and Interviews, Englewood High School, 3800 S Logan St
Regional Championship
  • Saturday - Sunday 3-4 Dec - Denver BEST Regional Championship – Qualifying schools by invitation. Finalizing possible Colorado School of Mines venues. More details to be provided.

Please Complete These Steps to Register your School
  • Step 1 - Primary Teacher (aka teacher or mentor that registers School) will need a Registry account to register your school. Use the button above to log into your account or to create an account if you do not have one. If a new account, select Rocky Mountain BEST as your hub.
  • Step 2 - Primary Teacher completes this step using the detailed Registry Instructions at this link. Select the blue Register a School button on the Schools page. Select Rocky Mountain BEST as your hub. Find your prior School Profile by selecting your school from the popup list of prior schools. OR If you are registering a new school, CREATE NEW School with button at bottom of the list.
Additional Teachers are associated with the registered school as Secondary or Assistant Teachers via the Registry Instructions at this link.
You’ll receive an email when your registration is approved
Participation at 2 MSU Summer Upward Bound Sessions
by High School BEST Students
WHAT: Discuss BEST experience at MSU Denver Summer program for 9th-12th grade Denver Public School students
WHO: High School BEST Student or Alumni: 1-3 BEST students or alumni / school and up 3 schools
WHEN: A single morning to be chosen between June 21- July 7 + July 19 (tentatively Tuesday & Thursday). Two sessions:  9:15am & 11:30am
HOW:
  • Each school has up to 15 minutes to describe their BEST experience
  • If a school has a BEST robot to demo, that is a plus.
  • Option to present a team video or website or material from a marketing presentation or exhibit.
  • Possible student panel participation if sufficient interest.
Please REPLY to this email by 27 MAY if you MIGHT have a student or alumni or two that MIGHT be able to support at MSU. I will be providing more information including date options.

Teacher / Mentor Institute (TMI): FREE educational workshop for teachers and mentors for BEST Hub student teams. Hands on mini-team robot build with competition.
WORKSHOP in 2 Required Segments
  1. Pre Class Reading & Exercises available online Sunday 12 June - Friday 8 July (approximately 20 hours effort)
  2. 3-Day Hands-on Sessions 12-14 July at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6853 S Prince St, Littleton near W Mineral Ave and S Santa Fe Dr.
