Call for Application: Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants

New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) in partnership with the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation provide a one-time grant program for recent unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies to artists in financial need who are creating in the visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts, and choreography.

Award Amount: $5,000

Call for Applications: International Artist Residency in Hayama, Japan

Hayama Artists Residency has a mission to introduce visual artists from around the world to Japanese culture and offer them an opportunity to have their first gallery exhibition in Japan. This is a four week residency in the coastal town Kanagawa Prefecture, on central Honshū, Japan during June 1 - 30, 2023. This is for English speaking applicants over 21 years old.

Application Deadline: January 15, 2023 at 11:59PM EST

Residency Cost: Round trip flight to Japan, housing, $200/week for meals and local transportation.

Application Fee: $95.00

Media Art Xploration (MAX) invites storytellers, performers, and creative technologists for their 2023 MAXmachina lab program. They are looking for projects that expand live performance by using science and technology to explore the promise and the peril of our rapidly changing world. Works developed in MAXmachina will be presented at their new MAXlive festival after a 7 month project development period.
