Yesterday my flights back from Newfoundland brought me in a bit inland from Beverly Farms and Manchester Harbor. In the photo above, from the plane, Manchester Harbor is on the left, small House Island is almost dead center with Misery Island to the right of it. On the right side of the photo is Bakers Island. Back in home waters. I have been away since sailing north on June 18th. It will just be a brief visit. The hope is to head north with engine parts sometime on Monday.
This evening, Annie and I took her little wagon with beach chairs and a picnic dinner down to West Beach and had dinner together at the seashore. It was a perfect evening together! We also ran into our next door neighbors and friends Chris and Lisa Zanni who stopped by to visit with us in the evening breeze. Charlie Thomas and his son Chris also stopped by. For me, it was nice to be back home and in the neighborhood among friends. At the same time, I am looking forward to returning to Tazzarin with Annie for some hopeful time cruising together.
