The Community Consolidated School District 62 2023-2024 school calendar was approved by the Board of Education at the February 21 Board Meeting.

Below are key dates for the FY24 school year: 

10-month Schools

• Beginning of the School Year: First day of student attendance, grades 1-8, on August 21, 2023. 
• The first day for Preschool and Kindergarten: August 22, 2023.
• Parent Teacher Conferences will be held October 5 and 6, 2023. 
• Fall Break: November 20-24, 2023. 
• Winter Break: December 25, 2023 through January 5, 2024. 
• Spring Break: March 25-29, 2024. 
• End of the School Year: May 31, 2024

Iroquois Community School 

• Beginning of the School Year: First day of student attendance, Kindergarten-grade 8, on July 19, 2023. 
• Intersession: September 18, 2023 through October 9, 2023. 
• Fall break: November 22-24, 2023. 
• Winter Break: December 18, 2023 through January 5, 2024.
• Intersession: March 11-22, 2024. 
• Spring Break: March 25-29, 2024. 
• End of the School Year: June 7, 2024.
