The 2023 ACCG Annual Conference is dedicated to helping county officials IGNITE (or RE-IGNITE) their passion for public service. The importance of and need for local government has never been greater. In recent years, counties have been on the frontlines, more than ever, hosting food drives for those impacted by COVID, supporting local small businesses through county grant programs, and much more. Constituents are gaining a better understanding of the major role county government plays in their lives and are receiving service beyond what counties traditionally provide. Now is the time for county officials to remind themselves why they pursued public office.

Secure Your Conference Housing After You Register

Housing Deadline is Tuesday, April 4

The deadline to secure housing accommodations within the ACCG room block is Tuesday, April 4. Rooms booked after the housing deadline will not have the discounted rate. Housing reservations should be made through Visit Savannah! Once you have registered with ACCG for the conference, you will receive a registration confirmation that will include instructions on how to make hotel reservations.

*Note: Due to an unprecedented response on the first day of conference registration, many contracted hotels rooms have been reserved. There is still availability at several hotels, so please check the link to see what availabilities remain. ACCG is working diligently to possibly add more contracted rooms to the conference hotel block, and your patience is greatly appreciated. Additional information is forthcoming.

Important Conference Changes

This year, we are bringing back the conference format, events beginning on Thursday and ending on Sunday, introduced during the 2022 ACCG Annual Conference but with a few changes. Here's a glimpse of what's different:

ACCG Awards Breakfast - All conference award recipients, including Lifelong Learning Academy graduates, will be honored during a special Awards Breakfast on Saturday, April 29 from 8:30 a.m. - 10: 00 a.m. So, dress to impress, you just might be winning an award!
ACCG Board Installation Luncheon - The installation Luncheon will now take place on Saturday, April 29 from 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. Please join us as we celebrate the incoming ACCG President and Board of Managers.
Lifelong Learning Academy (LLA) Courses - LLA Courses will be offered on Thursday, April 27 from 7:45 a.m. - 2: 30 p.m. and on Sunday, April 30 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
