As you know, the world of title and reg is very secure. You keep Personal Identifiable Information (PII) secure, indicia and forms are usually locked up and we know you don’t share passwords in your location. In just a few weeks, Vitu will begin rolling out multi-factor authentication helping you to maintain the high level of security for Drivers License Verification.
At the moment, consider this just a “heads up,” when we’re ready to roll this out, we’ll contact you with easy steps to implement multi-factor authentication throughout your dealership. Trust us, we’ll make it easy.

Last month, PennDOT released a bulletin with new updates to the plate reissuance process that is replacing the oldest registration plates currently in use. As of April 17th, “D” series plates are no longer eligible for free replacement. In addition, PennDOT is expanding the general reissuance program to include “G” and “H” series passenger plates. The day is busy, and there’s lots to do. It’s easy to just keep pushing forward to the next thing without taking a moment to check your work. So here’s our tip for the day — BEFORE you post a deal, take time to double check that the information you have entered is correct. Checking beforehand prevents you from having to submit any Problem Reports and avoids any additional fees that may be associated with any errors. You’ll be glad you did.

When gathering your paperwork together to send in, it’s important to make sure things are literally in order. One thing to focus on is the Change of Owner/Lessee Applicant Summaries that MUST be submitted separately and in WID order. Just remember that these applicant summaries DO NOT replace the original transaction’s applicant summary.

We know you want to stay up to date with the latest on DLDV Program requirements. One thing you need to know is that DLDV reports MUST be included with ALL necessary transactions. To print the full DLDV Report to include with your transaction, on the DLDV Report Preview page, simply click the Print Full Report button.
