Launch of Monk’s Road Fifth District Series II
Log Still Distillery is thrilled to announce the second release in their limited Fifth District Series. Paying tribute to the historic distilleries of the fifth tax district in Kentucky, Fifth District Series II particularly honors the legacy of F.M. Head Distillery, which was a distillery operated on the hallowed grounds and included in DSP-KY-47 lineage which is where Log Still’s DSP number, 47, comes from. The new release is an 8-year-old high rye bourbon finished in toasted barrels and will retail for $99.99 across retail locations in multiple states.

Have you met Hayden Williams, AHHA Center’s newest practitioner? Hayden will join Samantha on August 16 for the Yoga Infused with Thai Massage class. Hayden is a licensed and certified Thai Yoga practitioner and certified Ayurvedic Nutrition Consultant. Hayden is accepting one-one sessions of Thai Yoga the entire week of August 13 at AHHA Center.

The Bardstown- Nelson County Chamber of Commerce is excited to bring back the Young Leaders Program for the 2023-2024 school year. This program will provide 31 high school sophomores from all four high schools with opportunities to learn about their community. This program takes the students around the community discussing and sharing information about Agriculture, Tourism, Government, Business, Health, Workforce Development, and Volunteerism. The program meets from September – April and will end with a Graduation Luncheon in April. I have included the details below of how your business will be recognized for the investment that you will make in the future of our youth and our future workforce.
$1500 Program Investment
- Large Logo on each t-shirt of the Young Leaders, chaperones and staff that will be worn each program day.
- Logo on the Graduation Celebration program that will include all students, parents, school leaders, and sponsors.
- Logo on each Program agenda.
- Social Media attention throughout the program year.

Baptist Health Hardin’s Wellness on Wheels mobile health unit will be stationed at Abound Credit Union branches at select dates throughout the summer. All are welcome at these events, which offer free health and financial screenings. Health screenings include blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol panel, blood glucose, and health risk appraisals. Results are provided while you wait.
The time for all events is 9:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
